The Peace Packet is a list of resources developed by ACC’s Peace & Justice Committee to educate youth on their options as they approach their 18th birthday, when they are required to register with the Selective Service System. The Peace Packet encourages youth toward the position of Conscientious Objection as a result of our shared faith. It also provides information on registering as a Christian Peacemaker for use in the case of an eventual draft.
This information may be shared directly with high-school age youth. You may contact ACC’s Peace & Justice Committee with any questions or suggestions, or to request that a committee member present this information to your congregation’s youth, by emailing office@atlanticcoastconference.net.
