March 20-21, 2026
North Baltimore Mennonite Church
4615 Roland Ave, Baltimore, MD 21210
Join us for the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Assembly weekend! Assembly is for anyone interested in learning and talking together about what church is and how we live faith together. It’s a chance to hear what other ACC communities are working on, wrestling with, and trying together. It’s also a chance to listen and tell stories about how we’re aspiring to and working out vibrant, Jesus-centered lives and communities.
This year’s theme is Exile. As Jesus’ followers, we often find ourselves at odds with the world around us. Lives of love, peacemaking, and justice—or our understanding of how these look—can run counter to the values of others, including other people of faith. Like the people of the biblical story, we may find ourselves feeling like exiles in our own families or neighborhoods. We are also aware that others experience exile because of their culture, sexuality, or life circumstances.
During Lent, our theme is “dwelling in dissonance.” Part of this dissonance comes from our sense of place in the world and our identification with other exiles. During our ACC Assembly, we will wrestle with this theme together through focused conversations on Christian nationalism and loving our LGBTQIA+ and immigrant communities.
We hope you will join us for the weekend’s gatherings!
Friday Night virtual gatherings
Friday, March 20, 7 – 8:30pm
Assembly kicks off with a Friday night virtual keynote on our theme of Exile.
Everyone who registers will have access to the virtual gathering. But we encourage congregations or small groups to initiate local gatherings to watch the session and discuss together. If you’re open to others joining your group, let conference staff know you’ll be meeting.
Questions will be provided to lead group discussion.

Delegates
We welcome both delegates and non-delegates to all parts of the upcoming Assembly weekend. However, only delegates will vote during Saturday’s delegate session.
ACC’s Delegate Council is the primary decision-making body of the conference with final responsibility and authority. Delegates are expected to 1) speak for their congregation to the Delegate Council, 2) interpret conference work and program back to their congregations, and 3) serve as an ongoing connecting point between your congregation and other ACC member congregations.
Our hope is that each congregation identifies at least one member of your congregation to join your pastor in serving as a representative delegate.
ACC’s bylaws designate delegates as:
- Those delegates selected annually by ACC member congregations with a maximum of two delegates for the first 100 members and one delegate for each additional 100 members or fraction thereof. Each congregation is permitted one youth delegate, in addition to the prior listed delegates. Delegates will be members in good standing of affiliated congregations.
- Ordained and licensed ministers with active service assignments recognized by the ACC.
- Members of ACC standing committees and their chairpersons.
- Executive Committee members of the ACC.
- Representatives of the Conference Related Ministry Council (CRMC) as appointed by the Executive Committee.
- All staff persons, including Conference Ministers, will participate with the Delegate Council as non-voting members.
When possible we recommend that congregations build delegate roles into established leadership selection processes to help communication and connection in their roles.
