Stories for Wrestling Against Racism

As ACC continues to wrestle against racism, we ask what we can do from a conscious and sensitized understanding to move toward more just and equitable relationships and structures within both our congregations and our communities.

In this session, we will hear stories of how individuals have been impacted by racism in Mennonite settings in Lancaster County. Participants will be invited to consider a “Hierarchy of Power Tableau” exercise to help talk about how we and the storytellers experience the interpersonal and structural dynamics that show up in these stories as well as in our own stories. We will explore what unique role(s) we bring to this movement as learners, as people of peace, as agents of reconciliation.

Free registration includes lunch. Donations will be accepted to help cover lunch costs.
